By looking to our past, we reveal our future...
New Cathedral Cemetery maintains an extensive database of those interred at the cemetery. Our records date to 1871 when the cemetery opened. Genealogical research is very time consuming. The fee to research an individual or family is determined by how much information you request.
Free Records Search:
Try it out for yourself. Search our database for free to find your relatives and where they are located in our property.
Basic Records Search:
We will search our database and review the original burial register to provide all information recorded at time of burial. In addition to the information found in the free records search, typically the burial register will include the following: date of birth, date of death, cause of death, last known address or place of death, and name of funeral home.
Premium Genealogy Research:
Premium Genealogy Research: In addition to receiving all the information available in the Free and Basic Records Search, our most experienced genealogy researcher will provide information from other sources as well as photos of the burial site.
Photos are an excellent source of genealogical information. Many older monuments will list names of the deceased and their relation to others buried in the same family lot.
- Photographs are available with or without a records search
- Charge - $10.00 first photo, $7.50 for each additional photo of markers or monument in family plot
Please email email@example.com for details about any of our genealogical services. Because of time constraints we are not accepting corrections to our database at this time. Thank you.
